5.0 - Use of tools to prevent restricted commenting
Different tools are in place to ensure that The Cyber Domain is aware of any breaches of this policy. This includes the use of a profanity filter, to restrict all use of profanity in the comments sections. Moderation technology will also be used to ensure that there is no use of hateful language, racial slurs etc. The author will approve the comments that get published about their blog post and disprove comments that contain foul language or go against the restrictions listed above. It will make the website a happier and safer place for users to interact and drive construction conversation forward. In addition to the profanity filter and moderation we will also have Facebook Comments. This tool means that any comments made by a person with a Facebook account will not be able to be anonymous and will instead be linked to their Facebook account. This allows The Cyber Domain to be able to get in contact with any users as necessary and helps to promote positive and constructive comments.

If a comment, image, video or audio file is posted that violates any of the above policies or is deemed inappropriate, the user will be given a warning on the first offence. However, if a user’s comments (etc) are extremely offensive or violate many of our policies, the authorities will be involved as necessary, to stop the behaviour and protect our other users.
